At Laptopscart.com, we are committed to providing quality-tested refurbished and new laptops at great value. Every product is carefully inspected before dispatch to ensure that it meets our quality standards.
We understand that purchasing a laptop online requires trust. This Return, Refund & Replacement Policy explains the terms under which products purchased from Laptopscart.com may be returned, replaced, or refunded.
1. Return Eligibility
Customers may request a return or replacement in the following circumstances:
Defective or non-functional product: The laptop has a manufacturing or hardware defect present at the time of delivery.
Wrong product delivered: The model, specifications, or product supplied differ materially from the order confirmation.
Product damaged during transit: The product arrives with physical damage caused during shipping.
Product not as described: The product materially differs from the specifications or features advertised on our website.
Missing components: Essential items included in the confirmed order, such as the adapter, are missing.
Customers must contact our support team within 48 hours of delivery to report visible transit damage, an incorrect product, or missing components. For other defects, please contact us as soon as the issue is discovered.
Requests will be reviewed based on the nature of the complaint, supporting evidence, and applicable consumer protection laws.
2. Return Conditions
To help us process a return efficiently, customers should:
Retain the original packaging, accessories, adapter, and any other items supplied with the laptop.
Provide the order number and a description of the issue.
Share photographs or videos demonstrating the issue, where applicable.
Ensure the laptop is available for inspection and verification by our technical team.
Remove personal accounts, passwords, and personal data before an authorised return, wherever possible.
Products may be inspected to establish the reported issue and determine the appropriate resolution.
A return will not be rejected solely because the original packaging is unavailable where applicable law requires otherwise.
3. Non-Returnable Situations
Returns for reasons such as a change of mind, accidental purchase, personal preference, or dissatisfaction with the appearance of a refurbished product may not be accepted unless expressly permitted by the applicable product listing or required by law.
The following circumstances may affect return eligibility:
Damage caused by accidental drops, liquid spills, misuse, or unauthorised repairs.
Damage caused by improper installation, modification, or use contrary to product instructions.
Missing accessories or deliberate damage after delivery.
Software, operating system, or data issues caused by customer-installed software or unauthorised changes, where these are not attributable to a defect in the product supplied.
Important: These exclusions do not override any consumer rights or remedies available under applicable law, including for defective, misdescribed, spurious, or incorrectly supplied products.
4. Replacement Policy
Where a return or replacement request is approved, Laptopscart.com may offer one of the following resolutions, as appropriate:
Replacement with the same model, subject to availability.
Replacement with a comparable product, subject to the customer's agreement.
Refund of the eligible amount where a replacement is unavailable or a refund is otherwise appropriate.
Our team will communicate the proposed resolution before proceeding.
For products covered by a specific replacement warranty, the warranty terms displayed on the product page or supplied with the order will apply alongside this policy.
5. Refund Policy
A refund may be provided when:
A qualifying defective, damaged, incorrect, or materially misdescribed product is approved for a refund.
The ordered product cannot be supplied or replaced.
An order is cancelled by Laptopscart.com and payment has already been received.
A refund is otherwise required under applicable law or agreed with the customer.
Once a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method wherever possible.
Refund processing time: We aim to initiate approved refunds within 7–10 business days after the refund decision is confirmed and any required return inspection is completed. The time taken for the funds to appear in the customer's account may depend on the payment provider or bank.
Where applicable law prescribes a different deadline, the legally required deadline will prevail.
Any eligible refund will include the amounts required to be refunded under applicable law. Deductions will not be made where prohibited by law.
6. Return Shipping Charges
Where a return is accepted because the wrong product was delivered, the product was damaged in transit, or a qualifying defect or material discrepancy is confirmed, Laptopscart.com will arrange or bear reasonable return shipping costs, as applicable.
For other approved returns, shipping costs will be communicated to the customer before the return is arranged.
Customers should not dispatch products without receiving return instructions from our support team.
7. Warranty and After-Sales Support
Eligible laptops may include a 1-year warranty, as specified on the relevant product page or invoice.
Warranty coverage, including any tabletop replacement arrangement, is subject to the specific warranty terms supplied with the product.
A warranty claim is different from a return request. If a product develops a fault after the return period, customers should contact our support team to initiate a warranty claim.
The warranty does not limit any rights or remedies available under applicable law.
8. Order Cancellation
Customers should contact us as soon as possible if they wish to cancel an order.
Orders that have not been dispatched may be eligible for cancellation.
Orders that have already been dispatched may require the customer to follow the applicable return process.
If Laptopscart.com cancels an order after payment has been received, an eligible refund will be initiated in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

If any additional delivery charges apply to a particular order or delivery location, these charges will be clearly communicated to the customer before the order is confirmed.

3. Order Processing and Dispatch
Orders are processed after successful payment confirmation and verification of product availability.
Orders are generally processed within 1–2 business days.
Dispatch may take longer during public holidays, weekends, promotional periods, or when additional order verification is required.
Orders are subject to stock availability and successful payment confirmation.
Customers may be contacted if additional information is required to process an order.
Once an order has been dispatched, customers will receive the available shipping confirmation and tracking details through their registered contact information.
The dispatch timeline is an estimate and is not a guaranteed delivery date.
4. Estimated Delivery Time
Estimated delivery times depend on the destination, courier availability, and other logistical factors.
Metro cities and major urban locations: Approximately 2–5 business days after dispatch.
Other cities and towns: Approximately 3–7 business days after dispatch.
Remote locations and areas with limited courier access: Delivery may take longer.
These timelines are indicative only. Actual delivery dates may vary due to weather conditions, transport disruptions, public holidays, courier delays, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where a specific delivery estimate is provided at checkout or confirmed by our team, customers should refer to that estimate for their order.
5. Secure Packaging
We understand the importance of protecting electronic equipment during transportation.
Laptopscart.com takes reasonable care to ensure that products are securely packed before dispatch. Packaging methods are selected to reduce the risk of damage during handling and transit.
Customers are advised to inspect the external packaging at the time of delivery and, where possible, check the product for visible transit damage.
If the package appears severely damaged, tampered with, or incomplete, please take photographs before opening it, where practical, and contact our support team promptly.
Any concern should be reported in accordance with our Return, Refund & Replacement Policy and applicable consumer protection laws.
6. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, tracking information will be shared where available.
Customers can use the tracking details to check shipment progress and estimated delivery status through the relevant courier service.
If tracking information is unavailable or has not been updated for an extended period, please contact our customer support team for assistance.
7. Delivery Address and Contact Information
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address, PIN code, recipient name, and contact number when placing an order.
Please contact us immediately if you identify an error in your delivery details.
Address changes may not be possible after the order has been dispatched. Any change request will be subject to shipment status and courier feasibility.
Laptopscart.com cannot guarantee successful delivery where incorrect or incomplete address information has been provided. Any additional costs or remedies will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the order.
8. Failed Delivery and Undelivered Orders
A delivery attempt may fail because the recipient is unavailable, the address is incomplete, the premises are inaccessible, or the courier cannot contact the recipient.
In such cases, the courier may attempt redelivery or contact the customer for further instructions.
If an order is returned to us as undeliverable, our team will contact the customer to determine the appropriate next steps.
Any cancellation, reshipping charge, or refund will be handled according to the circumstances, our published policies, and applicable law. No charge will be imposed where prohibited by law.
9. Delayed, Lost, or Damaged Shipments
Although we work with delivery partners to ensure timely delivery, delays may occasionally occur.
If your shipment is delayed, appears lost, or arrives damaged, please contact us with your order number and relevant photographs or tracking information.
We will coordinate with the logistics partner to investigate the issue and communicate the next steps.
Where a product is lost in transit, damaged during delivery, or otherwise qualifies for a remedy under applicable law, Laptopscart.com will provide the appropriate resolution in accordance with its Return, Refund & Replacement Policy and legal obligations.
10. Delivery Inspection and Product Warranty
Customers are encouraged to inspect the delivered package and verify that the product received matches the order confirmation.
